What are Running Injuries?

Running injuries are musculoskeletal conditions caused or aggrevated by running, often due to repetitive stress, biomechanical flaws, training errors or inadequate recovery. They range from mild discomfort to severe, activit-limiting damage.

How we help running injuries?

Usually as a runner we do not like to be told we have to stop, we think we are invincible and have to run. Here at Vic Walls Pain and Injury Therapy we understand this and try to work around limiting or avoiding you having to stop doing what you love or carrying out your mission to complete your first marathon for example. We listen to your needs, assess and work a treatment plan around this, involving you in the decision making but being realistic and true to your current presenting symptoms as well as your goals.

Most running injuries are preventable with smart training, strength work and attention to biomechanics. Early intervention minimises downtime and keeps you on the track/road/path!
